| 茶室「重窓」を含む武者小路千家若宗匠・千宗屋のアトリエ。築３０余年のマンションの一室を改装した。北に六本木、南に東京タワーを望む立地を活かすため、その間を１５ｍ連続する扉で結ぶシンプルな構成とした。扉の一部分を開くと、書斎、洗面所、台所、そして茶室があらわれる。扉の意匠は平凡であると言ってよい。しかし奥に控える茶室の非日常性は、それが平凡であることによってもっともよく際だつ。若宗匠の祖父に当たる有隣斎の残した「重窓」という書が扁額となった。 |
| The Atelier of Sen Souoku the next master of Tea Ceremony School includes Japanese Tea Ceremony House”Chousou”, which is renovated more than 30-years-old apartment. The room is separated with long 15m continuous walls for connecting the North side Roppongi to the South side Tokyo Tower. The design of this long wall is extremely simple. That is why the hidden Tea Ceremony House should be standing out with its out of daily life. If you open the door partially, from the left side you will find the study room, washroom, kitchen and Tea Ceremony House. |
